Tasara will teach how to conduct your own shamanic journeys to the otherworlds to meet your spirit allies. Deepen this relationship with your allies, allowing them to assist you with the chal...lenges in your personal life.

Tap into the most primal well of creative energy - that which flows from your sacred temple. This temple is your sacred space. It is the beginning and end of all things. It is your inner psyche, your body, your cosmic mandala. It is from where you can express yourself, channel the Divine and enter the play and song of Devotion.

We are all born with the birthright of sovereignty of our inner temple. Reclaiming this opens up clear channels from spirit and to the outside world. This is what enables us to make authentic, mesmerizing creations, in whatever medium we work.

Through meditation and dance, we will enter this space together, in the Temple of Temples, to find, to explore, to clear, to express, to celebrate.

Take the Magic With You - Discovering and Making Plant Spirit Medicine
Tasara and Calling Bear will lead a workshop focused on finding your own personal medicine from an herb growing on the land. You will journey with the spirit of the herb, and discover what magic the herb has specifically for you, for use in your personal life. Next you will make an herbal remedy (e.g., tincture, infusion) based on the guidance you received from the plant's spirit during the journey, for you to keep! No previous journey experience is required.

Nov. 5-8, BC Shamanic Conference Seal Camp, Squamish
~ Workshop: Building Community through Circles, Ceremony & sharing in Shamanic Subcultures

How can we continue take the rich medicine we find in our workshops and healing sessions and bring it into a wider community arena? Is there a place for shamanic people to develop relationships, weave their passions and build a base of healing together that is continual and active in our everyday lives? Modern cultures have lost the town square and so we must dream up new ways recreate an interdependent fellowship. It is good to support each other’s paths. It is joyful to us all to honor each other’s gifts.

Learn about the basic elements of organizing a spiritual circle and how to keep it healthy. Hear tips on how to strengthen the ties between teachers, healers and solitary journeyers. Talk about what it means to give to community. Journey together to find what Spirit has to tell us about the work we can do together. Journey to find out what ceremonies that may be called to perform in the next year.
